· Perform Sun Microsystems workstation and server installations for Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret networks.

· Responsible for all Sun Solaris user accounts for the Top Secret network.

· Manage and perform initial setup, configuration and testing of new operating systems, application software, and hardware platforms operating in the Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES) software development environment.

· Maintain all networking equipment for Secret and Top Secret networks hubs, Cisco switches, and cabling.

· Responsible for administration and configuration of Terminal Services, IIS, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory on Windows servers.

· Implementation of all Windows application and server software security patches as well as Norton Antivirus Server virus scans and updates.

· Provide over the phone hardware and software troubleshooting to support the operational NPES program.

· Support new hardware and software upgrades of the NPES operational environment to include testing and installation at all of the NPES sites.

· Responsible for the implementation, management and operation of the Tivoli Management Environment.

· Administrator for all Tivoli enterprise database servers, management servers, gateway servers, and clients directly supporting worldwide military combat operations.

· Manage and perform initial setup, configuration and testing of new operating systems, application software, and hardware platforms operating in the Tivoli environment.

· Develop and integrate software for Tivoli’s Enterprise Console database management system.

· Develop, coordinate, analyze, and document enterprise management projects to improve and mature system management capabilities.

Weather Communications Operator

· Utilized the Message Distribution Terminals to process incoming and outgoing classified and unclassified messages for the Headquarter Air Force Weather Agency, Weather Communications Center.

· Operated the Tactical Forecast System and two UNISYS mainframe computer systems to ensure a continuous flow of time-sensitive weather data to US and NATO forces worldwide.

· Coordinated and assisted in troubleshooting Automated Weather Distribution System circuit problems and equipment outages.
